  THis is great Germanic/Middle European style bakery with well crafted rye and similar breads. Their Kaiser roles are inexpensive and made perfectly with just enough chewiness and crispness outside yet a good soft interior. I would only recommend the gigantic cheese filled doughnuts if you do not get addicted easily! One comment regarding the reviewer who gave the bakery a low rating because their sandiwch bread was moody. Unpleasant experience but I wonder: did you bring this to their attention or do you prefer just whining?

  Absolutely fantastic! We were passing through on our way home to Juneau and enjoyed having a taste of home
  (Deutschland) with Sweet and savory treats. And the owner graciously held our newborn as we devoured the delicious Leberkas!

  Amazing bakery. So many things to choose from! Only down side is not to much signage of what each item is, but the staff is super friendly and willing to help, know all the ingredients and describe it well. Regular stop for us now
